Our generous neighbors gifted us with a cabbage plant, onions, carrots & broccoli from their garden today. So, in order to be frugal, After chopping up the head to use as cole slaw, I used the cabbage leaves (for anyone who wonders why they are green instead of white) to make an interesting conglomeration I call “Cabbage Soup” (I know — I’m quite original and creative with my naming — watch out when we have to pick something for another baby!) Anyway, it actually turned out to be quite tasty, even though its looks would have made one skeptical.
We were quite proud of our little trooper (yes, that isher amidst the mess) – eating the cabbage soup as if it were candy.
The little bowl sitting beside her soup bowl is her ranch dressing for dipping her “broccol”. . .
Now that it’s warmer, she’s re-developed her great love for being outside. Tonight she wanted to be in the swing and refused to get out. So, since it was getting cold as the sun went down, Jake took her a blanket, and she thought it was the greatest. Way to go, Daddy!

I’ll agree that it doesn’t look too appetizing. . but considering your list of ingredients, it sounds pretty tasty
.
how cute when ava didn’t want to stop swinging. i remember my boys being like that at her age. oh, and i agree that it didn’t look too good, but i have a couple of recipes like that. looks can definatly be deceiving.
Now, to me, that soup looks good. I’m glad it turned out for you!
I think the soup looks great! The picture of Ava in the swing is very cute.
