Here is Ava, proudly clutching her newest aquisition — Big Girl Panties, compliments of Grandma and Wal-mart. She even wears them at night, with nary an accident so far. . .
I’m quite certain I was NOT quite so trendy as a small child. Hmmm. . . Seems I even remember some homemade underwear. . . 
We’re also discovering the unparalleled joy of dress-up. Here is Ava and cousin, Anna, playing princess. Anna did try (obviously in vain) to teach Ava to stand with her feet together.
The “Book Chair” Mommy paid $5 for at a yard sale, complete with lamp that we’re trying to learn to leave turned off during the day. . . This was her own choice of room-time activity the other day.
Fouth of July — if I had a nickel for every time I heard, “Fireworks go ‘BOOM’!” I’d be rich. I think we missed the concept of national freedom and all, but she enjoyed the hooplah. . .
